Metamorphose Series

​

Inspired by Jackson Pollock, this is an improvisational expression in Urushi ( Japanese lacquer ).

I do not decide on a design, nor do I use a brush, but rather drip and blow the Urushi as I make the piece.

I named it "Metamorphose" because the way you see the work changes greatly depending on the time of day and you mood when you look at it.
